Les Fleurs D’Ete De Chanel Summer 2011 Collection.
Bronzer. Le Vernis. Glossimers.
I did a little damage...
Glossimer in Pink Peony. Le Vernis in Mimosa and Morning Rose. Chanel Soleil de Chanel in Bronze Rose. (Natural Light).
Chanel Soleil de Chanel in Bronze Rose. All shades together, then swatches from bottom shade upwards.
Jen and I was talking on twitter about the number of ways this bronzer could be used, making it a very good investment (justifying our buy too :P). Beside the fact that there is 14g of product, the shades could be used together as a bronzer, or individually/mixed together as a blush, eyeshadow, contour and highlight.
My friendly SA showed me a face chart that Chanel had put together, sadly I couldn't take any photos of it but she made notes for me!
The first two shades (from top to bottom) can be mixed and used on your forehead (light contour).
The second shade can be used on the under outer corner of your eye (highlight).
Third shade under cheekbone (contour).
Last shade on the apples of your cheek and chin (blush, highlight).
Or all together for a all over glow. I guess this option would depend on the shade of your skin.
All shades swirled together as a warm blush.
Glossimer in Pink Peony. (Bright natural light) You can get a idea of the shininess and sparkles.
I couldn't capture how glossy and super shiny the gloss was :( it's really nice in the sun.
Le Vernis in Mimosa and Morning rose.
Can you see the tiny glitter particles? :)
These nail polishes are gorgeous. They both have a shimmer to them that you can really notice in the sun/under bright lighting. They are both such quick sellers, so if you can get a chance to swatch them in stores, do!
I still don't quite get the hype over Mimosa, yes it's pretty but I love Morning Rose more and it's the real winner from this collection ;)
Chanel's summer collection was released here in the UK last Friday I believe.
Have you purchased anything from this collection?
