NOTD: Nails Inc London & Eyeko Chi Chi

Chi Chi is one of Eyeko's newest nail Polish. It's a lovely mauve-y pink glitter shade. I find that Chi Chi works best onto of another nail polish. Using another corresponding shade as a base makes the glitter stand out far better than Chi Chi on it's own. 

I tried it with Nail Inc's London and am loving it! The camera wasn't able to fully capture the true likeness of the shade because of the sparkly glitter particles but you can see a difference Chi Chi makes to London.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

I bought this product after reading many positive reviews and I'm glad I did, very impressed!
The bottle contains 118ml of product, which lasts for a very long time. I purchased this spray back in June and still have more than 3/4 of product left.
I love this much more than MAC's fix+, All Nighter sprays more finer and lighter compared to Fix+. The mist is just perfect, it just hits your face rather than soaking it which I find Fix+ does.
Fragrance wise, there is a subtle smell which my sister describes smells like suncream. Although once the product is on your skin, the smell disappears immediately.
All Nighter doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy or sticky. My make-up from beginning to the end of the night looks and feels the same with the application of All Nighter. Most days I have my make-up for more than 12 hours and my skin still feels smooth and grease-free at the end of the night. Although I mention it feels grease-free, it doesn't control sebum, I'm prone to a greasy forehead, so while with All Nighter it doesn't free greasy, it looks greasy. Does that make sense? So I would still blot my skin.

I have nothing negative to say about the formulation, wear of the product, I love the spray. One negative thing would be the price, it costs £17 which is rather expensive.
Other than the price, I would definitely recommend this setting spray :D

Day Out, Hauling, Food, OOTD, FOTD

Heya everyone, hope everyone is well :)
I'm going to try and get posts written up this weekend to post during the week so I don't fall behind while I'm working :D

So today was the start of my first weekend off for a long while, it was also my mum's birthday so we all went out to central London and took her out for dinner.

My siblings and I and my parents ^^

We walked around the Charing Cross and Embankment area for bit, then around Buckingham Palace, we were tourists for the day haha.

We also took a trip to Westfield, where I bought a few things...

I dropped into Boots first as I had a voucher for a free 7 day sample for the new Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation. The SA there was a little weird as she was constantly smiling back and me in a freaky way and telling me to book a appointment after the 7 day trail to see how I got on. I was like 'ok', but she never actually booked anything, oh well, less hassle... 

So that's the 7 day sample. I'm not sure whether it would last me 7 days though... The SA matched me with shade 01 without any swatching, just by looking at my make-up covered face, hm...I will let you know how I get on!

Onto my fully paid haul:

Still in the leopard skin phase :P A beautiful polyester shift dress with gorgeous shoulder embellishment, and a lovely cotton baggy top (can be worn off the shoulder too).

Office:

Two pairs of navy shoes. I love fabric shoes, they are super comfy! My sister and I are loving espadrilles aka kung fu shoes to us, we both wear one size smaller than our normal feet size for these shoes and they feel as we have nothing on.

So after Westfield, we travelled back into Piccadilly Circus and into my favourite Korean restuarant for dinner.

Bibimbap, Seafood Udon, Black Bean noodles, Seafood pancake and Kimchi!

I always always forget to take pictures when the food arrives onto the table, it's only when we started eating that I remember! So above shows some of the many dishes we ordered. The food is amazing and affordable :) Recommended!

The restuarant used to be called Korean Kitchen but is now known as Soju, and it is located in: 32 Windmill Street, Piccadilly Circus, London, W1D 7LR.

I was going through some of my old art work from GCSE times and onto A-Level. So I thought I share some of my better works.
I miss drawing, painting, art, textiles, I regret not going back to school and college and getting my proudest work back. I regret not taking it further. Although I still could, it's a matter of time and money...

Random Thought...

So. After this week is over I have two whole weeks off work, I usually only work weekends but have been doing a ton of overtime with my free time now uni is over.
I apply for a internship and got a instant reply. I'm starting next Monday. (Fingers crossed it goes well).
Then I realise I wouldn't have two whole weeks off, just two weekends...

So is this someone telling me that I'll be working all my life without no breaks? No one wants me to rest? xD

Joking aside, I can't wait to start this internship, I'm so nervous and excited at the same time. I don't know much about it just yet, what to expect or even if I've secured the internship. I'll keep you posted. :)

BB Creams: Dr Jart Black Label, Skinfood Peach Sake, Missha Perfect Cover

 This was a requested post by Kei Kei from misskeikei :)

I had featured a couple of BB creams on my blog previously and had done mini reviews on them, so in this post I'll go into more depth and review the three BB creams I have tried for a good period of time.

The BB cream (also known as Blemish Balms) craze was very popular in Korea, since then the whole of Asia has been sucked into the BB Cream fandom! :P You can read more about BB creams and why they are so popular here.
BB creams are like tinted moisturisers but with many other properties included other that coverage.

I have a total of four BB creams across a range of different brands in my collection. However I will only review three in this post, these are the three I have used for few months on and off. The newest BB cream I have, I haven't tried out yet, but a review will follow once I do :)


The three BB creams I have tested are Missha Perfect Cover, Skinfood Peach Sake and Dr Jart Black Label. Swatches of these products side by side will be near the end of the post.

Missha M Perfect Cover BB cream.

The Perfect Cover BB cream comes in two shades, 21 (Light Beige) and 23 (Natural Beige). I have 23 which is the darker tone one. It also comes in two different sizes, 30ml and 50ml.

It has a SPF of 42 and claims to whiten your skin and prevent it from premature aging.

I have the 50ml version which comes in a pump, the 30ml is a squeezy tube.

Although this is the darker shade Missha offers, I find it is too light for me. I stopped using it for so many months now and tried it again today for this post and it's better suited now (don't know how lol) but still light. However with this BB cream, during the duration of the day, the product oxides on the skin, therefore it will get darker.

The product is of quite a thick consistency and once applied onto my skin. I find that it's quite oily on it's own therefore I would have to set it with powder. Coverage is sheer to medium, and it smells nice too.

The pump is great and hygienic, it is very easy to control how much product you desire.

Dr Jart Black Label Blemish Base.

Dr Jart's Black label come only in one shade, and one size 50ml. It comes in a squeezy tube, with a SPF of 25 and claims to also whiten your skin and premature aging. This BB cream is a great match for my skintone, it's consistency is thick so I would use this when the weather is cooler. Coverage is sheer to medium, the smell is very very subtle compared to the other two BB creams.

Skinfood Peach Sake BB Cream

This is my summer BB cream at the moment, another BB cream which suits my skintone. I love the smell of this, peaches mmmhh :D The consistency is thin compared to the Missha and Dr Jart BB creams. 

It comes in a 30ml tube with a pump, the pump in my opinion is really bad. It either splutters out some product or no product at all, which is why I transferred the product into another reusable bottle and this one is so flat and damaged lol.

Skinfood offers their BB creams in two shades, 1 and 2. I use 2. I really like this product as it leaves a lovely glow to the skin.

Dr Jart, Skinfood, Missha

I tried to capture the shades as true to how they actually look in real life and this is the best I could do. 

As you can see, Dr Jart and Missha's shade is on the cold side as Skinfood is more of a warm tone. Missha's shade is the most 'coldest' and is on the greyer tone, which is probably why it doesn't suit my skintone the best out of the three. 

Although Dr Jart and Skinfood seem like two completely different tones, they blend into my skin really well, therefore have the ability to adapt to my skin colour better.

A blogger asked me before if Dr Jart's BB cream whitens my skin and I said I didn't notice a difference.

However having trying the Missha BB cream after so many months, I realised that it suited my skintone better than a few months back. So I asked my sister if she noticed a difference in my skintone and she said told me my skin is much paler than before,

Therefore after using these three BB creams on and off over the course of over a year now I think, my skintones is much lighter than it was. Which means these BB creams indeed whitens your skin :)

Honestly I never bought these products wanting my skin to become whiter, I just bought because of the hype... :P but it does work and I'm not too fussed about it. In terms of the anti-wrinkle element to these BB creams, I wouldn't know just yet as I don't have lines on my face.
