♥ GOSH Rainbow

GOSH 546 Rainbow

This nail polish is a instant favourite of mine. It's a clean base polish with beautiful multi-coloured flakes. When applied the flakes reflect a lovely array of colours, depending on the amount of light you're exposed to. Applied on it's own is unique, but when applied onto off another shade, it's gorgeous! The darker your base colour the more unique Rainbow comes out.
Base colour: Barry M Bright Purple.

It's looks amazing on black nail polishes! :D
What's your favourite nail colour?

OOTD & Barry M Bright Purple

I had a dreaded presentation today at uni, spent all weekend and sleepness nights over a 5min presentation! It's actually much harded than a normal 20min-ish one as you have to nip and pick at relevant information. So glad it's over though.
Anyway decided I should make a effort and dress smartly:

Dress: Zipia
Blazer: Paul and Bear
Brooch: Zipia
Tights: ASOS

Also re-did my nails. I love this colour!
Barry M Bright Purple

Going to relax tonight, catch up on some dramas and put on a face mask :P

How was your day? Hope you're all well :)

Selfridges! ♥

Went Shopping with Helen today~ :)
We spent most of our time in Selfridges. Each trip is like a journey, exploring the hidden depths of the store, I find something new every time!
Before I show you my little make-up haul, let me show you some delicious pics of some beautiful desserts located in the food hall ♥

Macaroons!

Cakes & Meringues!

The Haul!

Benefit Stay Don't Stray Eye Primer and Concealer.
Pump application, and after swatching and contemplating whether or not we should get it, we caved! It leaves the skin feeling soft and matte, however this is when swatched on our hands, I'll get back to you on whether it works around the eye area and as a primer.

MAC Lipstick in Creme D'Nude
A beautiful creamy nude colour. Although I already have quite a few nude lipsticks, this is the lightest one I have. It has a lovely subtle shimmer to it, perfect for a summer natural look. I tried to get a decent photo of the swatch, you might have to tilt your head a bit to see it :P

MAC Liberty Of London Nail Polish in Blue India
After seeing swatches of this shade on other blogs, I really wanted it. I don't know how to describe the colour, a dark dirty turquoise? Beautiful nonetheless. And the Liberty of London packaging is so pretty too!

Illamasqua Liquid Metal Quad.
The most anticipated item! I have been wanting to get a couple of the liquid metals, they look amazing and so out there! When I found out that Illamasqua had recently released the quad, I was so excited! The colours are so gorgeous!
Shades: Enrapture, Surge, Solstice, Phenomena.

Have you hauled lately? Hope you're all well!

A New Whisk? Nope A Head Massager :)

:P

My new favourite gadgety thing :D
It's a head massager, (yet a few people seem to mistake it for a whisk?) that we came across during our browse around Selfridges. After trying it out, i was immeditely sold and for a mere fiver, i needed to get!
It's said to stimulate the nerves around your brain and release the 'feel good' elements.
It feels really good, almost a tickling sensation. The needles(?) are flexible so they mound around your head as you move it up and down around your head. I absolutely love this at the moment, actually my whole family does haha.

Do you have a weird favourite item?
Have a lovely weekend!

2NE1 Dara's 'Try To Follow Me' Look

The sun has been out the past few days and has me in a happy mood to do something fun and different :P
I came across this music video recently and thought it was really erm interesting (?) to watch. I really like the use of bright pastel colours the make-up artist used and tried to create a similar look myself based on the beautiful Dara's photo above :)
I used these two colours from the 88 eyeshadow palette i got from ebay, MAC's fluidline in black and the Revlon doubletwist mascara.

I patted on the eyeshadow on the three sections of my eye, then with a blending brush i softly blended each two sections together.
Lined my eyes with the eyeliner and created a little flick on the end.

Oxford Street Haul with FOTD & OOTD

Did a bit of damage to my bank account today, as a day out my my younger siblings turned into a full on shopping spree :P Today was actually a turn around in terms of the weather, we had sun! :D We walked nearly the whole of Oxford Street, from Tottenham Court Road to Bond Street XD

Here's what I got:
Yeah the sun has got me in the mood for some summer shopping. These beautiful sandals are from Miss Selfridge. I really like the cute design on the cuff and the zip, it's fits perfectly around my ankles yay! :)

Aren't these shoes adorable? I love them! Perfect for the nude season and the black tips adds that extra jazz to it. From H&M Divided section.

Both look really weird laid out flat :P. From Uniqlo, I got this striped batwing top. I saw it before but they never had it in my size, so I made sure to grab it this time round, can be worn off the shoulder too.
Now this parka was a impulse buy, but for a great bargain of £6.99 wouldn't you? Great for the summer as it's just basically two thin layers of material including the lining. But I love the fit of it, and with the drawstring, it gives the jacket some shape.

After spotting a gorgeous military jacket on a Dulce Candy's OOTD post, I found out it was from Zara. And after a little bit of research I found out it costs £50! Okay, I'm one to splash out a bit once in a while, but £50 for a blazer, I was a little iffy about. I did decide to try and get it nonetheless, but not after surfing other sites for something remotely similar. And guess what? I found it at New Look! And it's almost identical! And for nearly half the price with student discount :D I love the white outline and the little button details.
Also from New Look, Cheryl Eyelashes.

That's it for the shopping side of it! And here's my FOTD &OOTD:

American Apparel?

There are many American Apparel (AA) stores that I just take a glimpse in and then pass. Having taken a interest in the past and giving a store the once over I found their stuff to be overpriced and plain?
A few weeks back I came across a facebook event page advertising a rummage sale taking place this weekend at Brick Lane. Another thing I brushed off.
AA? Hmm...
Brick Lane? No idea where that is.
Weekend? Working.
Rummage? No thanks! Imagine the queues!
Oh and queues there were and so much more. Did you read about the chaos? And due to this choas, I found out that AA were offering their customers a promotion online and instores. This caught my attention (as sales and promotions do :P) and had me surfing their website.
Now I did find some pieces of clothing I liked and was thinking of purchasing, these to be exact...:D
Drawstring Tank Dress & Le Sac Dress

Both dresses are priced between £34-£36 and I think that's pretty dear. But other than the price I do like the style of the dresses and with the Le Sac Dress, it has multiple ways of wearing which is very creative and could be a good investment. Although I can get that dress for much cheaper on ASOS. XD
I also loved the websites features, videos, reviews, customer's submitted photos of their buys. But that's just the service they provide, is that why people love it so much?
For the following week, AA are offering 40% off their rummage sales favourites and 25% off the rest of their store online and instore as a apology for the choas on Friday. Rummage Sale is still on for tomorrow if anyone wants to brave it. Online codes are available on their blog.

So the point of this post is, what's the hype? Why do people love AA so much? I personally don't get it and wouldn't purchase anything unless there's something like this promotion floating around as it makes it more affordable.

What do you guys think? Love it? Hate it? Not Sure? Share your experiences and your favs :)

Hope you had a lovely Easter! x

Monthly Favourites: March

A mix of different stuff for my monthly bests of March :)

Dr Jart Black Label Detox Healing BB Cream.
My favourite BB cream, but quite pricey. I brought this from ebay ages ago and it does last a good few months. As i have loads of foundation to use up, i use BB cream on my lazy days and when i go work now. This is the first BB cream that's shade matches my skin tone exactly.
For anyone who are not familiar with BB (blemish balm) cream, they are like the western equivalent to tinted mosturisers (in terms of coverage, in my opinion) with a few added extras like repairing factors. BB creams claim to protect skin from blemishes, wrinkles etc. and it contains SPF which is always a bonus!
Dr Jart's black label BB cream is thick in consistency so a little goes a long way, it has a sheer to medium coverage range.  I used to use it everyday for a couple of months and did notice a difference to my skin. It looked better, my skin looked clearer and it glowed. It however doesn't whiten like it claims it does, which doesn't bother me.

Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder
I use this powder to contour and add definition to my cheeks. It's a light brown shade, I apply two layers to the colour to show up. I love how it creates a subtle yet noticeable contour.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eyeliner in Stash.
This has been my favourite shade at the moment. It's a lovely metallic bronze colour with a little sparkle to it.
These eyeliners are so creamy and easy to apply, their staying power is fantastic too. After 12 hours and no smudging!

Blazers
Candid picture my sis took :P
I am loving blazers at the moment, and with UK's weather being all over the place, the extra fashionable layer is a added bonus :D they go with almost every outfit, dresses, jeans, t-shirt... LOVE!

Blackberry
My newest gadget! I love it! I'm constantly on it non-stop. Many people have noticed how my attention always defers back to this baby :P Best buy of the month XD

What's been your monthly best?
